The Property
Nestled in the rolling southern hills of Lucca, La Perla di Lucca is a magnificent 17th-century villa set in extensive parkland, offering a refined and authentically Tuscan retreat. Rich in history and aristocratic charm, the residence captures the essence of noble Tuscan living, where antique furnishings, grand frescoed rooms and warm hospitality come together in a sophisticated and serene setting. La Perla di Lucca accommodates up to 14 guests across seven bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom.
Surrounded by Italian gardens, La Perla di Lucca enjoys a tranquil position in a verdant valley where a freshwater brook flows gently through the grounds into two serene private ponds. Shaded weeping willows, fragrant lemon trees, herb beds and centuries-old cypress trees frame the villa’s beautifully manicured outdoor spaces. The generous swimming pool (20 x 10 m) is discreetly set within this idyllic landscape and floodlit for evening swims, while a charming gazebo and al fresco dining area invite moments of relaxation.
Spread across multiple floors, the interiors boast a series of refined living spaces: three large reception rooms, a majestic drawing room, a cosy TV lounge with satellite channels and DVD player, a card room, and a library. The traditional Tuscan kitchen is fully equipped and complemented by an additional kitchen on each floor, including one in the cellar with a wood-burning oven.
