Nestled in the north western portion of Italy, Piedmont & Lombardy are strongly influenced by their neighbors France and Switzerland as well as by other neighboring Italian regions. Although they have no coastline themselves, they both have so much to offer in other altitudes including some of the country's best wines, fashion and other hidden riches making them amazing destinations to combine with a coastal region or on its own in the colder months of the year.
