For the past few years a lot of thought and work has gone into converting the original 1,000-year old castle into a 36-room hotel with a second restaurant, a Bathhouse spa and a large outdoor pool. The Hotel Castello di Reschio was scheduled to open on June 1, 2020. Sadly, world events overtook, we have now postponed our Hotel opening to early 2021.
We are so fortunate in that Property 1557152266 is set within a 1,500 hectares of open space and wilderness. Guests will always be able to indulge in activities far from crowds, whether it is tennis, horse riding, mountain biking or swimming, and we can still offer your clients a Reschio haven in Umbria later this year. We are in a lucky position to have an alternative to the Hotel: a selection of farmhouses, luxurious properties, each with a private garden, their own pool and terraces available to enjoy while maintaining control as to whom they are in contact. The houses vary from two to seven bedrooms and are therefore perfect for an extended family or smaller groups.
As we are in exceptional circumstances, we thought we would extend a unique offer for this 2020 season: the possibility of an exclusive rental of the Castle as a Private Residence for an even larger group. Either, with access to all 36 rooms or only the 30 rooms within the Castle’s walls. The reservation would include breakfast daily, but otherwise not the normal hotel services, thus minimizing interaction between the guests and Reschio staff. In addition, guests can select from a long list of ancillary services that can be booked and organized depending on their specific requirements.
At Property 1557152266 we have implemented the government's recommendations on health and safety protocol, for both guests' and our team's protection. In today's world that exceeds 'social distancing'. But, we continue to watch as each country make preparations to emerge from lockdown, to ensure that we not only abide by the Italian government's recommendations, but also include those of our European neighbours. We have also brought this one step further, and added a stringent Health & Safety protocol for all our associated and restricted partners. It complies with the highest precaution of prevention and self-conduct, whilst understanding the necessity to guarantee safety procedures and a healthy environment for both guests and staff.
We have an incredible delivery service for food & beverage and scheduled daily cleaning to provide the highest level of protection. Moreover, we have been creative in extending activities to our international guests so that they can enjoy every aspect of the house or castle, within a safe environment and still respect all the Health & Safety Rules. To name a couple: the exclusive use of our Bathhouse for private treatments and some video tutorials with Reschio’s barman in mixing the perfect cocktail while watching the sunset or Chef Simone will demonstrate how to make authentic Italian home-made pasta.
Last but not least, we have taken into consideration a more flexible approach towards our booking and deposit Terms & Conditions, reflecting this uncertain time we are living in.
