Porto Cesareo sits on a prestigious part of the Ionian coast, enjoying a long stretch of beach and sparkling clean seas. The popular seaside resort has an amazing 17 km of golden beach facing an archipelago of low-lying islands that form a protected bay. The water is calm and clear. Porto Cesareo is also the home of a nature preserve that is a marine protected area rich in flora and fauna with very rare species. Underwater excursions allow for viewing of the unique coral formations, turtles, sea horses, and other marine life.

The city of Gallipoli, Greek for Beautiful City, is a pearl in the blue waters of the Ionian Sea. The port has established it as a maritime town for centuries and it still has an active fishing trade. It was a trade port with ties to Orient, as seen in some of the decorations and touches around town. The elegant old center hints at its once important past.The beaches are known throughout Italy as some of the cleanest around, with colorful rows of umbrellas and bright seafront bars and restaurants decorating them in the summer.

Santa Maria di Leuca boasts one of the biggest and most fascinating tourist ports in Salento, with 760 mooring places that can accommodate boats up to 40 meters long. The coast, surrounded by Punta Ristola and Punta Meliso, alternates cliffs and beaches, with the characteristic “bagnarole” made of stone. In Leuca, you will also find the fascinating marine caves that can be visited via boats: the marine life and crystal-clear water underneath the caves make them a perfect hotspot for snorkeling and scuba diving.

The Property
Set in an idyllic location right in the heart of the Porto Selvaggio nature reserve, Property 10780 is a charming villa located in one of the most evocative corners in Southern Italy. Offering a sophisticated atmosphere, the villa has been recently renovated and features local-stone flooring and marble bathrooms. With spectacular views across the Ionian Sea, the villa can accommodate up to six guests featuring three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread over two floors.

Surrounded by a lush garden, the villa boasts an exceptional pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the villa opens onto an al fresco dining area complete with large table and barbecue. With gorgeous views of the Ionian Sea, the grounds are gated and have encircling stone walls. Most of your time here will probably be spent lounging around the pool or splashing in the water.

Flooded with natural light, the spacious living room on the ground floor boasts comfortable sofas with plenty of seating and large windows overlooking the garden and creating a luminous and airy atmosphere dominated by light colors. On the same floor you will also find a modern fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay. On the ground floor you will also find a handy guest bathroom and on the lower ground floor you will find a laundry room.

Offering a warm and elegant atmosphere, the villa sleeps up to six guests in three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower. Here you can lie back and sleep deeply or simply enjoy the peace and quiet as you gaze out over the sea. There are two bedrooms (one with king-size bed and one with queen-size bed) on the ground floor, one of which has a private terrace, and a third bedroom (with queen-size bed) on the lower floor.
