This carefully restored villa is ideal for families and groups of friends seeking the tranquillity of the countryside in complete privacy. Villa Gran Madre offers a serene atmosphere and can accommodate up to 18 guests in 9 double bedrooms (or 12 guests in 6 double bedrooms), each with an en-suite bathroom.
Once the summer residence of Salvatore and Wanda Ferragamo, the villa has been meticulously restored to its original splendour while seamlessly integrating modern comforts. Rich in character, the interiors are adorned with antique furniture, original frescoes, and an atmosphere that evokes the charm and elegance of a bygone era. The villa is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden with a swimming pool and a romantic park featuring monumental trees, providing a serene and enchanting setting.
The villa has been recently expanded to include nine double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a large dining hall, and generous common areas, including a cosy reading room and a captivating living room that opens onto a panoramic terrace overlooking the lush Tuscan landscape. On the ground floor, guests can find the original private chapel, suitable for symbolic ceremonies, and the Agricultural Museum, a unique space housing over three hundred objects and artworks that celebrate the history of Tuscan rural life.
The ground floor also features a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary amenities, complemented by a guest bathroom. On the first floor, you will find nine bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms: there is one bathroom containing both a bathtub and a shower, one with a bathtub, and seven with showers.
